He founded the company on a commitment to structural excellence, responsible growth, and long-term dealer relationships.
Under Bill’s leadership, Thursday Pools pioneered patented innovations such as beach-entry fiberglass pool designs (U.S. Patents 10,358,837 and 10,472,839), the Backfill Eliminator® system (U.S. Patent 10,450,766), and the Double-O7 Skimmer® (U.S. Patent No.10,961,736). His leadership philosophy remains steady: build it right, operate with integrity, and protect the partnerships that drive lasting success.
Ed Vondell
Co-Founder
Ed Vondell holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Biological Engineering, as well as an MBA, combining technical depth with strategic leadership. With a background in automotive manufacturing and process engineering, Ed serves as the driving force behind many of Thursday Pools’ patented structural and production advancements.
Working largely behind the scenes, he leads product development, lean manufacturing systems, and quality control initiatives that support ICC-ES evaluations and national building standards. His engineering leadership is reflected in patented technologies including U.S. Patents 10,358,837, 10,472,839, 10,450,766, and 10,961,736.
Ed’s focus is precision, durability, and continuous improvement, ensuring every pool reflects both engineered strength and manufacturing efficiency.
Annie Brock
Director of Business Development
With more than 30 years in the swimming pool industry, including more than 13 years with Thursday Pools, Annie Brock brings deep and firsthand knowledge of every facet of the business. Her experience spans manufacturing, dealer development, marketing strategy, and brand growth, giving her a practical understanding of what drives long-term success.
Annie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and leads business development and dealer engagement strategy for Thursday Pools. She works closely with dealers nationwide to strengthen partnerships, guide territory growth, and support sustainable expansion.
Her focus is building strong dealer partnerships that drive lasting success.
Mindy Bell
Sales & Marketing Coordinator + Onboarding Specialist
Mindy Bell has been with Thursday Pools for four years, supporting both dealer development and digital brand growth. She creates and publishes engaging, SEO-focused social media content that strengthens brand visibility and connection with homeowners and installers.
Mindy also leads new dealer onboarding, guiding installers through a smooth transition into becoming Thursday Pools Independent Dealers. Her ability to combine clear communication with structured processes helps ensure new partners feel supported from day one.
Jessie Stewart
Sales & Marketing Associate + Head of Customer Experience
Jessie Stewart has been part of the fiberglass pool industry and Thursday Pools since 2021. She plays a central role in content development, asset creation, copywriting, and social media management, helping shape the voice and visual identity of the brand.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, specializing in media presentation and design, Jessie contributes to strategic marketing initiatives while also leading customer experience efforts. Her work ensures that every touchpoint, from digital content to dealer support materials, reflects clarity, consistency, and a strong brand standard.
Jonathan Davis
Director of Customer Relations
Jonathan Davis brings both engineering expertise and hands-on field experience to his role. A trained electrical engineer, Jonathan spent eight years leading a fiberglass pool construction division before joining Thursday Pools, giving him real-world insight into installation challenges and builder needs.
Today, he helps oversee quality control initiatives to ensure compliance with ICC-ES evaluations and national building standards. Jonathan also manages warranty-related matters, working closely with dealers to resolve issues with clarity, fairness, and technical precision. His unique combination of engineering knowledge and field leadership strengthens both product performance and long-term customer confidence.
Sarah Adams
Production & Logistics Coordinator
Sarah Adams has been part of Thursday Pools’ Production and Logistics team for more than five years. She plays a key role in coordinating new orders, managing production timing, scheduling deliveries, and arranging drivers to ensure smooth and timely shipments nationwide and into select regions of Canada.
Sarah thrives on supporting dealers and making sure their needs are heard and addressed throughout the production and delivery process. Her attention to detail and commitment to communication help keep operations running efficiently while strengthening trusted dealer relationships.
Tom Martin
Insurance Compliance Specialist
Tom Martin has three years of experience in the pool industry, all with Thursday Pools. He supports the company’s insurance compliance and documentation processes, helping ensure required certificates, coverage verification, and related compliance matters are properly maintained across dealers, vendors, and internal operations.
With more than 20 years of experience working with databases and advanced spreadsheet systems, Tom brings strong analytical and organizational expertise to his role. His technical skillset supports accurate tracking, documentation integrity, and structured compliance processes for operational stability.
Nathan Andrews
IT Manager + Administrator
Nathan Andrews leads IT and systems infrastructure at Thursday Pools, overseeing network architecture, server management, cloud infrastructure, device security, and CAD support. Since joining the industry in 2020, he has played a critical role in building and protecting the digital systems that support manufacturing, operations, and dealer communications.
Nathan holds a Bachelor’s degree from Ball State University in Business Administration and Computer Science, and maintains both a Google IT Support Professional Certificate and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner credential. His focus on security, reliability, and scalable systems ensures the technology behind Thursday Pools is as dependable as the pools themselves.
Paul Olsen
Lead Product Engineer
Paul Olsen brings decades of engineering and advanced problem-solving expertise to Thursday Pools. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois and is a Certified Shainin Red X Master Blackbelt Problem Solver.
A former DaimlerChrysler Master Blackbelt and two-time Lynn K. Tilly Award recipient for problem solving, Paul has led high-level process improvement initiatives across automotive and advanced manufacturing sectors. His consulting experience includes work with Stellantis, General Motors, high-pressure die casting operations, and FRP manufacturing environments.
At Thursday Pools, Paul applies structured engineering analysis and root-cause methodology to strengthen manufacturing processes, improve product performance, and support continuous improvement across fiberglass pool production.
Graham Ikiriko
Warranty Coordinator
Graham Ikiriko has more than12 years of experience in the service industry, including three years with Thursday Pools. As part of the customer experience team, he works behind the scenes to coordinate warranty processes and ensure service matters are handled efficiently and consistently.
In addition to supporting warranty coordination, Graham assists all departments with the distribution of materials and pool components to dealers and homeowners nationwide. He holds a Six Sigma Green Belt certification, bringing a structured, process-driven approach to quality and continuous improvement.
Amanda Coddens
Director of Production & Logistics
Amanda Coddens serves as Director of Production and Logistics at Thursday Pools, where she oversees scheduling, workflow coordination, and cross-functional operations. Since entering the fiberglass pool industry in 2020, she has developed a broad understanding of the many systems and applications that support manufacturing and delivery.
Known internally as a skilled problem-solver and “detective,” Amanda excels at connecting details across departments to resolve challenges efficiently and fairly. She holds a Juris Doctor degree and is a certified mediator, bringing a unique combination of operational insight, analytical thinking, and balanced decision-making to her leadership role.
Anne Camp
Controller
Anne Camp has been part of Thursday Pools since 2011, beginning her tenure as Office Manager and growing into her current role as Controller. She oversees financial reporting, internal controls, and accounting operations, helping ensure the company maintains strong fiscal discipline as it continues to grow.
Anne holds a degree in Accounting from the University of Dayton, along with a major in Dance—a combination that reflects both analytical precision and disciplined execution. With more than a decade of experience inside Thursday Pools, she brings deep institutional knowledge and steady financial leadership to the organization.
Sam Kuonen
Assistant Controller
Samantha Kuonen has been with Thursday Pools for nearly six years, serving four years part-time and two years full-time as Assistant Controller. She oversees daily payment processing and bank reconciliations, helping maintain financial accuracy and operational stability across the organization.
Sam holds a Bachelor’s degree in Informatics from Indiana University, bringing a systems-oriented mindset to financial operations and internal controls. Her attention to detail and consistency support responsible growth and reliable service for dealers and partners nationwide.
She is also fluent in Spanish, strengthening communication across a diverse network of customers and vendors.
Becky Manthei
Office Administrator + Accounting Assistant
Becky has been part of Thursday Pools for five years, supporting critical administrative and order management functions across the organization. She oversees order processing, swaps and changes, payment and billing coordination, warranty registration processing, and sales tax verification.
In addition, Becky manages office administration, supply ordering, and inventory coordination to help ensure internal operations remain organized, accurate, and responsive. Her attention to detail and process discipline support both dealer satisfaction and operational efficiency throughout the company.
Dave Camp
Operations Manager
Dave Camp brings more than 24 years of experience in the fiberglass industry, including 12 years with Thursday Pools. His expertise spans fiberglass pattern construction, mold construction, manufacturing processes, and plant operations.
With hands-on knowledge of how fiberglass products are engineered and built from the ground up, Dave plays a key role in maintaining production standards and operational efficiency. His leadership supports consistent quality, structural precision, and disciplined plant management across the manufacturing facility.
Jerson Vargas
Plant Manager
Jerson Vargas serves as Plant Manager at Thursday Pools, bringing more than 26 years of experience in fiberglass manufacturing. His background spans every stage of production, from mold preparation and chop operations to lamination and final finishing, giving him comprehensive hands-on expertise across the entire manufacturing process.
With six years at Thursday Pools, Jerson oversees day-to-day plant operations, production workflow, and quality execution. His deep technical knowledge, combined with a collaborative leadership style, helps ensure every fiberglass pool is manufactured with precision, consistency, and care.
Jerson values the strong culture and teamwork at Thursday Pools, believing that alignment between production teams and leadership makes it possible to consistently do things right.
Juan Cerna
Production Manager
Juan Cerna brings nearly two decades of manufacturing experience to Thursday Pools, including extensive work with fiberglass fabrication and composite materials. He began his career in 2006 working with chemical materials such as isocyanates and polyurethanes used to produce molded components for the recreational vehicle, construction, and architectural industries.
In 2010, Juan expanded his expertise into fiberglass manufacturing, completing specialized training and coursework through facilities such as Better Way Products in New Paris, Indiana, Jasper Plastics in Syracuse, Indiana, and additional manufacturing classes through Goshen College.
Throughout his career, Juan has fabricated a wide range of fiberglass products, including RV roofs, walls, engine covers, flooring systems, and commercial shower pans. For the past five years at Thursday Pools, he has served in a production leadership role, helping oversee manufacturing operations and ensuring each pool is built with precision and care. Juan takes great pride in knowing the pools he helps produce will be enjoyed by families for years to come.
Nate Jackson
Yard Manager
Nate Jackson has five years of experience in the fiberglass pool industry, all with Thursday Pools, bringing additional background in CNC machining and precision operations. As Yard Manager, Nate oversees all post-production handling, including pool flipping, stacking, loading, and preparing for secure nationwide transport.
His team is highly trained in rigging, heavy equipment operation, and advanced strapping procedures, ensuring safe transport across the United States. Under Nate’s leadership, Thursday Pools maximizes legally compliant trailer loads while helping dealers reduce freight costs and maintain an exceptional safety record.
Nate is trained in Kaizen and process improvement methodologies and holds certifications in safety, CPR, and AED. He is passionate about teamwork, strong company values, and ensuring both employees and customers receive the highest level of support.
